Jaw dropping goodness, make sure you have a good GPU of course, no problems on my RTX 3090, its sheer bliss
This is a strange product. I work as a 3d artist in game development and it's a great monitor for productivity, I can have so many applications on the screen at once it keeps me in the zone instead of tabbing out lots. That said, there are some compatibility issues, especially with full screen applications like games. Some games are great, others were clearly not designed to be on this aspect ratio. And the ones that dont work can sometimes be put to windowed mode and work ok while others can't. I've sound success in most games but it varies. Other than full screen applications this monitor is totally worth it if you're looking to get it to work on, but dont get this if you're only a gamer or just want to watch videos and browse the web (obviously)
I absolutely love this monitor having had it for about a week now. Playing games in ultrawide and ultra settings has been awe-striking and then 244fps in competitive shooters is amazing. Haven't had a chance to use the HDR yet, but meaning to start on Tomb Raider soon which I hear looks great in HDR. I also use the monitor for my daily work, so it's fantastic as a productivity monitor and the PBP is a nice feature (though lack of support for greater than 60hz for this is disappointing). Few weird software issues are annoying though - for instance everytime I unplug my work laptop's usb-c to displayport at the laptop end, the screen goes black (even when using other displayport input) and refuses to respond to any commands until I plug it back in or turn it off at the socket - very frustrating. Couple of other quirks, but in all a small price to pay for such a wonderful experience visually.
