Innovative Chassis

To make the most of its small form factor, the Jonsbo VR3 is equipped with many innovative features. To improve ease of access, the interior chassis can be removed. Simply lift the top panel and use the handle on the back to pull the frame from the mesh exterior. Once out, you have unrestricted access to the mounting points for installation, or the hardware for maintenance.

As a vertical case, the Jonsbo VR3 has a carefully curated interior to optimise on hardware support. The motherboard tray supports the Mini-ITX form factor, with an open section to feed cables through. Below this, there is space for up to an ATX power supply, the maximum height being 140mm, and a drive cage that accommodates for two 2.5” SSDs.

On the other side of the motherboard tray, you can vertically mount a GPU up to 325mm in length. A PCIe 4.0 riser cable is included with the case, as this is the only place for a graphics card to go. If you opt for a smaller graphics card, a maximum of 185mm, then an additional two 3.5” HDDs can be mounted in the same area using the bracket at the top of the frame.

Furnace Offensive

To counter the heat output of your hardware, the Jonsbo VR3 integrates cooling throughout the chassis. First of all, the outer shell is entirely mesh to get airflow to every component as well as allow any RGB lighting to shine through. The front panel can then be used to mount either fans or an AiO cooler. For fans, the options are either two 140mm or two 120mm fans. In the case of radiators, this panel can hold either a 240mm or 280mm model. Whether air or water cooling, the CPU cooler needs to be low profile, a maximum of 70mm.

Finishing Touches

The I/O can be found on the top panel. Whilst the steel plate can be removed, the ports are part of the interior chassis. They consist of a USB-C and USB 3.0 port, with a power button to complete the set.

The Jonsbo VR3 is available in two colours, black or white. This model is black, with a classic matte finish. The Jonsbo VR3 is a stylish addition to any gaming environment.
