The USB protocol version 3.1 (Gen 2) achieves twice the data speed of 10 Gbit/s compared to the lower USB version. A special feature of this external housing is the combination of SATA and NVMe. Finally, both technologies can be operated in one housing!

Perfect cooling
Three cooling properties come into their own in this case: the cooling rib design of the aluminum case, the silicone heat-conducting pad that is applied to the data carrier and the heat sink, which again covers both on the inside. This means that the heat generated by the high performance of the housing is optimally dissipated.

If you opt for a great case with high data capacity, you want to know that your data is well secured. Therefore the IB-1817MC-C31 is equipped with write protection. A small included tool flips a switch between read-only and unsecured.
